A healthy, delicious, and low carb alternative to traditional wraps, Gimme's Nori Seaweed sheets add a satisfying crunch to this lunchtime favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1, 5 oz. can tuna (we love Safe Catch)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

To Assemble Hand Roll

  • 2 sheets Gimme Sushi Nori, cut in half
  • 1 cup sushi rice (we love the rice preparation in this CA Roll recipe)
  • Veggies cut into sticks (we used carrots, bell pepper, cucumber)

Instructions

  1. Mix together all tuna salad ingredients, seasoning with salt and pepper to your taste.
  2. Place a half sheet of Sushi Nori horizontally on a flat surface in front of you.
  3. Top Sushi Nori with ¼ cup rice at a 45° angle in the top left corner going from top to bottom in an flattened oval shape.
  4. Top rice with veggies and ¼ of tuna mixture.
  5. Roll the bottom left corner of Sushi Nori up to form a triangle then continue rolling to make a cone.
  6. Secure the edge of Sushi Nori with a little rice to hold in place. 
  7. Enjoy!
