Avocado Toast with Seaweed & Fried Egg

Avocado toast is the hardworking breakfast-anytime staple that’s easy to customize, so you’ll never get bored. Our version combines the best of traditional toppings – avocado and fried egg – but swaps in toasted sesame oil instead of extra virgin olive oil to bring out subtle, unique flavors that combine well with the other ingredients. We like it with thin-sliced radishes or red onion for a little extra oomph!

Ingredients

1-2 slices of sourdough bread (or your favorite type)

1 ripe avocado

1 pack of Gimme Avocado Oil Roasted Seaweed Snacks

2 eggs

Optional: sliced radishes, onions, & sesame seeds for toppings

Instructions

  1. Toast bread slices until nicely done – make sure it’s firm enough to provide a crunchy, firm base for all the toppings. ​
  2. Spread your mashed or sliced avocado on the toast, then add seaweed squares. Slice and add radishes or red onions if using. ​
  3. Fry eggs in your desired style, and then place an egg on top of each toast. ​
  4. Drizzle with toasted sesame oil, and eat immediately. Yum!
