Asparagus quiche with gimme sea salt seaweed snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 9” frozen pie crust
  • 5 large eggs
  • ¾ cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • ⅓ cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 pack Gimme Sea Salt Roasted Seaweed Snacks, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • Pinch of paprika or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and bring a small pot of water to a boil.
  2. Wash asparagus and remove ends then cut into 2” pieces.
  3. Cook all asparagus 3-5 minutes then strain and rinse with cold water.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, Dijon, sea salt, and white pepper.
  5. In frozen pie crust, sprinkle cooked asparagus, ¾ of chopped Gimme, ¾ of green onions, and cheese.
  6. Pour egg mixture over top then top with remaining chopped Gimme and green onion, and a pinch of paprika or chili flakes.
  7. Bake for 40-60 minutes until center is still slightly jiggly and edges are set.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool 10-20 minutes then enjoy!
